On Tuesday 25th April 2017, Ten Acre attended the ‘Pitch@Palace‘ event at St James’s Palace in London.
The ‘Pitch@Palace’ event is an initiative funded by The Duke of York, Prince Andrew to support entrepreneurs with the amplification and acceleration of their business ideas. The Pitch@Palace event connects some of the most innovative ‘tech’ start-ups in the country, with potential investors and supporters.
You might be wondering, ‘what is a snack brand doing at a tech event?’ Well, Yumsh Snacks have previously attended the event itself back in April 2015 where the theme was Food and Drink Entrepreneurs. ,with the Ten Acre brand. Although an event with a tech focus, each year has a different theme.
Since the original meeting in 2015, Ten Acre have continued to establish the brand and Ten Acre Snacks are now available in 40+ countries around the globe. Earlier this year Ten Acre were invited back to the palace, this time to enjoy the event and allow this years entrepreneurs and guests sample crisps in the fantastic goody bags arranged by the organisers.
The event itself was a great success, and the Ten Acre table received a royal visit from both The Duke and The Duchess of York.
The Duke of York followed up his Ten Acre meeting, with a tweet to his 167,000+ followers on Twitter!
